This year we pulled "musical" out of the hat as our genre for this year’s 48 hour film project. With only 48 hours to write, shoot, score, edit, and put a film on DVD, this contest is always a challenge, but always a blast. We competed in the Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida region.

Tampa Bay's Independent Film Spirit

Tampa Bay has become a hub for independent film production in Florida. Litewave Media has produced 10 short films over the past few years, and has won awards for many of them, including grand prize at the 48 hour guerrilla film contest in Sarasota, Florida in 2005 & 2nd place in 2007.

Feature Films

Litewave Media has edited a number of feature length films including "Chasing Paradise" in 2009. We are also producing our first feature in house called Jules Dongu Saves the World. The film is scheduled to be released in 2010. Check out the official website at www.julesdongu.com
